Air Duct Cleaning

We clean residential air ducts across Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas, pulling built-up dust, insulation fibers and debris out of supply and return runs. Homeowners usually call us after a remodel, after finding a rodent or moisture problem in the attic, or when dust settles back on furniture a day after cleaning. If that sounds like your house, call us and describe what you are seeing. We will look at the ducts first and tell you honestly whether cleaning is the right move or whether something else is going on.

What Air Duct Cleaning Actually Involves

We start at the air handler and work outward. Registers come off, and we run rotating brushes or air whips through each branch while a high-volume vacuum holds the system under negative pressure so loosened debris leaves the house instead of blowing into your living room. Return trunks and the blower compartment get attention too, since that is where most of the load collects. Access panels are cut only where needed and sealed properly afterward. On a typical home this is a half day of work, sometimes longer with two systems or long attic runs.

What We Check Before And During The Job

We open the ducts and look. That means checking for moisture staining, crushed or disconnected flex runs, torn insulation shedding fibers, and any sign of rodents or nesting material. We inspect the coil and blower wheel, because a fouled coil sends dirt downstream no matter how clean the ducts are. Filter size, filter fit and return sizing get a look as well, since gaps around a filter are the most common reason ducts load up again. Anything we find, we photograph and show you before deciding next steps.

How We Decide Cleaning Is The Right Call

Cleaning helps when there is visible debris, evidence of pests, construction dust, or duct contamination after water intrusion. It does not fix a duct that is leaking into a hot attic, and it will not solve a room that never gets cool. Across the humid parts of the region we often find the real issue is a disconnected run or moisture in the insulation, and those need repair or replacement instead. If cleaning will not change how your home feels, we tell you that and price the work that will.

Air Duct Cleaning — quick answers

How often do residential air ducts need cleaning?

There is no fixed schedule. Most homes go many years without needing it. We recommend cleaning based on what we find inside the ducts, such as pest activity, remodel dust or moisture damage, rather than a calendar.

Will duct cleaning help my allergies or dust problem?

Sometimes. If ducts hold visible debris, removing it reduces what circulates. Often the bigger culprits are a poorly fitting filter, return leaks pulling attic air, or a dirty blower wheel, so we check those too.

Do you use chemicals or sealants inside the ducts?

Not as a default. Mechanical cleaning with brushes and vacuum removes the debris. If we find moisture damage or contaminated insulation, replacing that section is usually the honest answer instead of coating over it.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill out the quote form and describe what the system is doing. Warm air, short cycling, water on the floor, a smell, a noise. That detail tells us what parts to load on the truck.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant behaviour and the ductwork. You hear what we found in plain language before anything gets replaced or repaired.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the fix

We explain the repair, what it costs and what happens if you wait a season. Nothing gets done without your go-ahead, and we tell you honestly when a repair no longer makes sense.

Why homeowners call us

  • We know humid-climate systemsAcross the region the real enemy is moisture. Systems here run long hours pulling water out of the air, and that shows up as frozen coils, clogged drains and mildew smells. We diagnose for humidity, not just temperature.
  • Mixed gas and heat pump workPlenty of homes we visit run a heat pump with gas backup, and the two have to hand off cleanly. We troubleshoot both sides, including defrost boards, reversing valves, ignitors and heat exchanger concerns.
  • Attic ductwork is our daily breadMid-century homes often have ducts running through attics that hit brutal temperatures. Crushed runs, disconnected boots and leaking joints steal cooling before it reaches the room. We find them instead of blaming the equipment.
  • Repair before replaceA capacitor, a contactor, a blower motor or a clogged drain line fixes a lot of the calls we take. We would rather fix what you have and tell you plainly when the numbers stop working.
