Which parts of Tennessee do you cover?
We work across Tennessee, from the western river counties through Middle Tennessee and into the eastern valleys, and we serve homeowners in Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas as well. The city links on this page show the areas we visit most. If your town is not listed, call and tell us your address and we will let you know honestly whether we can get a truck out to you.
My AC runs all day and the house still feels sticky. What is going on?
That is usually a humidity problem rather than a temperature problem, and it is common in Tennessee. A system that is oversized cools the air fast and shuts off before it has pulled enough moisture out, so the thermostat is satisfied while you still feel damp. Low refrigerant charge, a dirty coil or leaky duct running through a hot attic can do the same thing. Before you call, change the filter and confirm your supply vents are open. We will measure what the system is actually doing and tell you what is causing it.
How fast can you get someone out?
Call us and we will give you a real window rather than a vague promise. Same day is often possible when we have a truck near you, and during a summer heat run or the first hard freeze the schedule fills quickly, so calling early in the day helps. We will tell you upfront if the soonest slot is tomorrow instead of stringing you along.
What should I have ready before the technician arrives?
Know the brand and rough age of your indoor and outdoor units, and have any past service paperwork handy if you kept it. Be ready to describe what you are hearing or smelling and when it started, since intermittent problems are easier to trace with that detail. Clear a path to the indoor unit and to the attic access, and make sure pets are secured. If your outdoor unit is buried in leaves or shrub growth, clearing a couple of feet around it before we get there helps.
I smell gas near the furnace. What do I do?
Get everyone out of the house first. Do not flip switches, do not touch the thermostat and do not use a phone inside. Once you are outside and away from the building, call 911 or your gas utility and let them make the house safe. Same goes for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. After the utility clears it, call us and we will inspect the heating system and take care of the repair.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill out the quote form and describe what the system is doing. Warm air, short cycling, water on the floor, a smell, a noise. That detail tells us what parts to load on the truck.
- Step 2
We diagnose on site
A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant behaviour and the ductwork. You hear what we found in plain language before anything gets replaced or repaired.
- Step 3
You approve the fix
We explain the repair, what it costs and what happens if you wait a season. Nothing gets done without your go-ahead, and we tell you honestly when a repair no longer makes sense.

Why homeowners call us
- We know humid-climate systemsAcross the region the real enemy is moisture. Systems here run long hours pulling water out of the air, and that shows up as frozen coils, clogged drains and mildew smells. We diagnose for humidity, not just temperature.
- Mixed gas and heat pump workPlenty of homes we visit run a heat pump with gas backup, and the two have to hand off cleanly. We troubleshoot both sides, including defrost boards, reversing valves, ignitors and heat exchanger concerns.
- Attic ductwork is our daily breadMid-century homes often have ducts running through attics that hit brutal temperatures. Crushed runs, disconnected boots and leaking joints steal cooling before it reaches the room. We find them instead of blaming the equipment.
- Repair before replaceA capacitor, a contactor, a blower motor or a clogged drain line fixes a lot of the calls we take. We would rather fix what you have and tell you plainly when the numbers stop working.
- All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
- Straight answersNot worth fixing? We say that out loud, and often it saves you the visit fee.
