Search for it as an AC not cooling or air conditioner blowing warm air and you land in the same place: one visit, one written quote.
What an AC not cooling call involves
We start by confirming what is actually happening. Is the outdoor unit running, is the indoor blower moving air, and how much temperature drop are we getting between return and supply? That split tells us a lot. From there we work through the system in order: airflow first, then electrical, then the refrigerant circuit. Most no-cooling calls come down to a handful of causes, and finding the right one keeps you from paying for parts the system did not need. We explain what we found before we touch anything.
What we check and what we repair
We check the filter and evaporator coil for restriction, the blower wheel and motor, the condensate drain, and whether the coil has iced over. Outside we look at the condenser coil, contactor, capacitor, and fan motor. We measure refrigerant pressures and superheat to see if the charge is right or if there is a leak. In this region, ducts running through a hot attic are a common culprit, so we look at leaks and crushed flex when the equipment tests fine but rooms stay warm.
How we decide repair is the right call
We weigh the age and condition of the equipment against what the repair actually fixes. A failed capacitor or a plugged drain is a straightforward repair on almost any system. A compressor failure or a refrigerant leak in the coil on an older unit is a different conversation, and we lay out both paths with what each one does for your comfort. If a duct or insulation problem is the real reason the house is not cooling, we say so rather than selling equipment that will not solve it.

Why is my AC running constantly but the house stays warm?
Long run times with weak cooling usually mean restricted airflow, a low refrigerant charge, or duct losses in a hot attic. The system is working, but the cool air is not reaching you. We measure to find which.
There is ice on my indoor coil or line. What should I do?
Switch the system to off and leave the fan on so it can thaw, then call us. Ice usually points to airflow restriction or low refrigerant, and running it frozen risks damaging the compressor.
Can a dirty filter really stop my AC from cooling?
Yes. A clogged filter starves the coil of airflow, which drops capacity and can freeze the coil solid. Changing it is a safe check you can do yourself before calling for air conditioning repair.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill out the quote form and describe what the system is doing. Warm air, short cycling, water on the floor, a smell, a noise. That detail tells us what parts to load on the truck.
- Step 2
We diagnose on site
A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant behaviour and the ductwork. You hear what we found in plain language before anything gets replaced or repaired.
- Step 3
You approve the fix
We explain the repair, what it costs and what happens if you wait a season. Nothing gets done without your go-ahead, and we tell you honestly when a repair no longer makes sense.

Why homeowners call us
- We know humid-climate systemsAcross the region the real enemy is moisture. Systems here run long hours pulling water out of the air, and that shows up as frozen coils, clogged drains and mildew smells. We diagnose for humidity, not just temperature.
- Mixed gas and heat pump workPlenty of homes we visit run a heat pump with gas backup, and the two have to hand off cleanly. We troubleshoot both sides, including defrost boards, reversing valves, ignitors and heat exchanger concerns.
- Attic ductwork is our daily breadMid-century homes often have ducts running through attics that hit brutal temperatures. Crushed runs, disconnected boots and leaking joints steal cooling before it reaches the room. We find them instead of blaming the equipment.
- Repair before replaceA capacitor, a contactor, a blower motor or a clogged drain line fixes a lot of the calls we take. We would rather fix what you have and tell you plainly when the numbers stop working.
- All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
- Straight answersNot worth fixing? We say that out loud, and often it saves you the visit fee.
